Art Classes - Week Six

Summer Silk Painting; Instructor is Emily Best; Ages 5-12 (5 year olds must have completed Kindergarten)

Students will use watercolors and dyes to experience the art of silk painting! They will learn different effects using silk dyes, salt, and watercolor paints to create a beautiful silk masterpiece.

 

Masks de Papier Mache; Instructor is Sue Shelton

This class will have students designing and creating a colorful mask made from papier mache. This project will be part of the Fur, Feathers, and Fins exhibit in September. Starting from a simple Chinette plate, we will create a three dimensional mask that can be treasured for years!
