Brownfields Public Meeting

The County of Wayne has secured grant money from the Environmental Protection Agency to assess brownfields properties so they can be ready for redevelopment and better usage. A brownfields property has real or perceived soil or groundwater contamination that hinders redevelopment. We need your input about the locations of these brownfields properties and those properties in which developers have a current interest. Grant funds are for use on property located anywhere in the county.
