CCOG Blood Drive

Red Cross blood banks in Wayne County must be replenished immediately.

CCOG – Chevrolet of Goldsboro has joined with the Red Cross to organize the largest single day blood drive the county has ever seen.

It will be held on Tuesday, August 9 from 9 AM to 7PM at CCOG – Chevrolet of Goldsboro, 3300 Highway 70 Bypass East in Goldsboro. 

All donors will receive a gift bag including a $10 Gift Certificate from Texas Steakhouse, a free car wash from Adam’s Auto Wash, free bowling at the AMF Boulevard Lanes, Putt-Putt at All Stars Family Fun Center, a free chicken sandwich and coffee from Chick-fil-a, and many more items from area businesses such as MOEN, Curtis Media, McDonald’s, Krispy Kreme, CopyPro, and the Goldsboro News Argus!

Also door prizes will given away every hour during the event.

This summer, while demand for blood has remained steady, donations have been at the lowest level the Red Cross has seen in over a dozen years.
