In April, the City of Goldsboro commissioned Strategy 5 to prepare a Convention Center Financial Analysis. Through extensive research, Strategy 5 determined the following:
Evaluated land requirements of 3 potential sites
Investigated competitive supply
Met with stakeholders and potential users to determine facility utilization
Outlined a potential building program
Projected Expenses
Projected Capital Costs
Potential Fiscal and Economic Impacts
During the study, it became evident that resources could be combined to create a unique meeting venue to broaden the conference center’s appeal. One viable concept was to intertwine an Air Force component with the conference center, creating the “Air Force Museum and Conference Center” concept.
