Days of Caring

* Days of Caring is a hands-on opportuity to make a difference in your community by participating in a volunteer project. It is sponsored by United Way of Wayne County, the County of Wayne, the City of Goldsboro, and Volunteer Wayne / RSVP. United Way agencies and other non-profit organizations, local governments, schools and churches in Wayne County are invited to submit projects - can involve labor or the collection of supplies or goods - that can be accomplished Sept. 14-22. Individuals, groups and businesses can participate by working on one of the projects or holding a supply drive. Donations and sponsorships are also needed. * A kick-off ceremony will be held 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 14 at the Wayne County Courthouse in downtown Goldsboro.
