Ms. Hasselbach lived in Goldsboro from 1961 until recently she moved to Calfornia to be closer to her daughters. She received her BA in Art at Atlantic Christian College and her Masters in Art at East Carolina University. After completing her formal studies, Gloria continued to take art classes, many of which were at the Arts Council of Wayne County. This exhibit is a small sampling of her many works of art in many mediums that she loved - from sewing to leather tooling to pottery to her real love, painting. In the last few years she turned to watercolor as her medium of choice. The items on display were selected by her youger daughter, Charlene.
