In 2007 the Center for Enviromental Farming Systems was honored to host Slow Food founder Carlo Petrini. This year we have invited Judy Wicks, owner and founder of Philadelphia's famed White Dog Cafe. Building on the success of Petrini's global development of local food systems, Wicks is working to build a local food systerm and living economy in the Philadelphia region and is recognized as a national leader in the sustainable business movement.
