"Understanding the New and Current NC Fire Codes" Come and Learn the up to date information of the NC Fire Code and how it applies to you. This workshop will be beneficial to business owners, contractors, builders and other government officials. All attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions.
The featured speaker for this seminar is Alvin Ward, Fire Chief for the City of Goldsboro. Chief Ward received his B.S. in Political Science from North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro, NC. Chief Ward has an extensive background in Fire Prevention and Education along with many years of hands on experience. He spent 3 years in Chapel Hill as Deputy Fire Chief , 5 years experience with Wake County Public Safety Fire Rescue as Director of Training, 2 years experience with Cary Fire Department as a Firefighter, 8 years experience with the City of Kinston as Fire Captain. He was also named NC Fire Instructor of the Year 2002.
