The purpose of this work session is to engage the general public in a meaningful discussion about the US 70 Corridor and potential safety and accuss improvements. Participants will get the opportunity to provide quality feedback regarding the problems, issues, and improvements associated with the US 70 Corridor. Attendees also will have a chance to:
View a presentation about the US 70 planning efforts
Review corridor safety, mobility, and economic development data
Review access management plans for the County
Review long-term alternatives for US 70 as a freeway including the planned Goldsboro Bypass
Talk to US 70 Corridor Commission members and partners about your concerns and ideas

Discuss specific ideas over corridor mapping at the workstations: Access Management Concepts & Plans: Short-to mid-term improvements to improve safety and mobility. Freeway Plans: Long-term improvements to upgrade US 70 to freeway standards.
