Sound of Music celebration
Celebrating 50th anniversary of the Sound of Music on Friday, Sept. 5 at 7 pm at Walnut Creek Country Club, actor, singer and "Rolf" in original movie who sang "You are Sixteen, Going on Seventeen" will share stories of the making of the movie, sing songs from the movie , and share his faith journey as well. Dinner will be served. Tickets are available beginning August 1 at First Presbyterian Church. Proceeds will go to Community Soup Kitchen,Habitat for Humanity, Wayne Pregnancy Council, Elim School in Kenya and Mwandi Formula Feeding Project in Zambia.
