The Affordable Healthcare Act for Small Businesses

The Affordable Care Act (ACA), popularly known as “Obamacare,” will take effect on January 1, 2014, expanding healthcare benefits to millions of uninsured or underinsured Americans.  Enrollment for the ACA begins on October 1, and the library is offering a series of workshops to help members of our community learn how to sign up for this new coverage.

Rebecca Craig, vice president of finance and chief financial officer at Wayne Memorial Hospital, will present these workshops and answer any questions from workshop attendees.
