Trunk or Treat

Join us for our annual Trunk or Treat! The Kids Costume Contest will be taking sign-ups the night of at the Friends of Cliffs of the Neuse Booth. If you would like to sign-up for the Pre-Carved Jack-O-Lantern Contest you may bring your carved pumpkins to the park Visitor Center the week of Trunk or Treat (Oct. 21st-25th). They will be put on display at the festivities! Prizes for contests! Winners will be announced that night! Suggested Donations for Contests: Kids Costume Contest: $1 Pre-Carved Jack-O-Lantern: $1 We would like to invite you to participate by setting up a vehicle in our Trunk or Treat event! If you would like to enter a trunk please call the park office at (919) 778-6234 by Monday, October 21st. This event draws over 1000 trick or treaters! Prizes will be awarded to the best decorated trunk. There are just a few rules: You may arrive as early as 5pm to begin setting up. Only pre-packaged, purchased candy will be allowed. Vehicles must be decorated and ready to hand out candy by 6:30pm. Vehicles will not be allowed to leave until Trunk or Treat is finished. All trunks will be entered into the best decorated trunk contest for free! Rain or Shine! Event will be moved to the Park Office in the case of rain.
