Y's Men Outreach

The Y's Men Benefit Event is a way for you to help families in Wayne County this Christmas, and throughout the year. There are many different ways for you to participate! The Goldsboro Family YMCA works with agencies such as the Boys and Girls Club of Wayne County, Wayne Uplift Domestic Violence Program, Wayne County Public Schools and Seymour Johnson Air Force Base just to name a few. These agencies identify local families in need who don't receive assistance from anyone else at Christmas time. The families will gather at the Y and we will have volunteers to take the parent/guardian shopping, while other volunteers help to entertain their children. You can help families by donating money or gift cards. ALL donations go directly towards supporting these families. You can also volunteer on Y's Men night (Sunday, December 2nd) to take a parent/guardian shopping for food, supplies and Christmas gifts. We also have opportunities to help with the children while we entertain and feed them here. SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER!
