About Us
The Goldsboro Elks' lodge is a fully renovated, non-smoking facility located in the heart of downtown Goldsboro. The lodge houses a bar, lounge, outdoor covered patio, and a banquet hall that can accommodate up to 150 people. The lodge is available for rental to the general public. The lodge hosts shag and line dancing every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month. $5 cover, you do not need to be a member to attend.
The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, or more simply The Elks, is an American fraternal order originally started as a social club in New York City. The Elks have more than 750,000+ members at 1,928 lodges worldwide. The Goldsboro Elks were first chartered in 1890, reorganized on May 8, 1902 and is the oldest lodge in North Carolina. The Goldsboro Elks focus on serving children, first responders, and active duty miliary and Veterans through scholarships, grants, and other volunteer projects. Membership is open to any American citizen that believes in God.
